Spectacular created Spinel pendant. This stunning piece is one-off, and individually artist designed. A truly magnificent pendant that has been handmade in 925 sterling silver, and electroplated with 3 microns thickness of 23ct gold. This 40ct Spinel has been checkerboard cut, and captures the light beautifully. This piece is also set with an elegant crystal briolette drop. The overall measurements of this opulent statement pendant are 66mm x 41mm.
 
The earliest Spinels are thought to have come from Northern India, and in early references, Spinels were often known as ‘Balas Ruby,’ a name most probably derived from the North Indian region of Balascia.
