The spectacular pear shaped Citrine featured in this stunning piece, has been chequerboard cut to capture the light. This magnificent piece also features four faceted Topaz gemstones. It has been created in 925 sterling silver, and electroplated with 3 microns thickness of 23ct gold. The measurements of this ornate pendant are 68 x 31mm.
 
Citrine is a highly sought after stone with a stunningly beautiful colour. Its colouration can vary from pale yellow to a deep orange-red. Citrine owes its colour to iron impurities within the Quartz at the time of its formation. Though Citrine deposits could be found all over the world, now the gemstone is much harder to come by. It is currently mined in Brazil and Uruguay.
