Enticing Lemon Quartz and Amethyst earrings, handmade and individually designed by Empress Jewellery. Created in 925 sterling silver, and electroplated with 3 microns thickness of 23ct gold. These sublime and elegant earrings feature two Lemon Quartz gemstones, and an oval cut lilac Amethyst, bezel set within each earring. Each earring measures 60 x 18mm.
 
Named for its refreshing and invigorating yellow colour, the citrus tones of the Lemon Quartz are an unusual quality in the gemstone world. The lemon colour is most likely caused by iron breaching the colour centers of the stone when formed. Amethyst is crystalline Quartz in colours ranging from delicate lilac to a dark reddish purple.
