This elegant pendant features a pear shaped 19.53ct Ruby cabochon, and has been handmade and exclusively designed by Empress Jewellery. Created in 925 sterling silver, and electroplated with 3 microns thickness of 23ct gold. The pendant measures 64 x 43mm. This stunning piece comes with a valuation by an independent valuer and gemmologist.
 
This natural Ruby has received treatment. Most of the natural ‘big three’ gemstones – Emeralds, Rubies and Sapphires – are in some way enhanced or treated to improve colour and clarity. Filling Rubies with lead glass dramatically improves the transparency of the natural stone, and its value is also more affordable than an untreated Ruby.
