Empress Jewellery was born from a passion, which soon flourished into a business. A mother-daughter team with a love for gemstones and fashion, they soon commenced creating their own jewellery pieces.

Lyn's background was in the fashion industry. She was Miss Burnaby and also third place in the Miss Dominion of Canada in 1965. Lyn continued working as a successful fashion model in Canada in the 1970s. Having a keen interest in gemstones, she began collecting exceptional quality stones from around the world. Her daughter, Sarah-Lyn, soon followed in her footsteps modelling, but owing to her creativity, she received employment as an artist. It wasn’t long before Sarah-Lyn was designing her family’s jewellery.

 

After entering a jewellery design competition, Sarah-Lyn was accepted as a finalist in the International Jewellery Design Awards in the first year of entering. With a respect for fashion and large quality gemstones, Empress Jewellery aims to deliver creative, opulent designs with a concentration on quality and originality.
